Our Core Promise To You
We built Quilx for the love of instant food exploration, not for anything else. That means:
- All your private content stays yours. By default, all your tasting notes, photos, and collections are stored only on your personal device.
- We never access your private gallery or share your personal content with any third parties.
- We won't flood you with ads or sell your information to anyone. Ever.
- We're constantly improving Quilx to add new features that help you organize and enjoy your collection more.
What You Can Do On Quilx
Quilx is built to be your personal flavor playground, so you're welcome to:
- Capture unlimited packaging photos, write custom tasting notes, rate any instant food, and organize your collection with any tags you want (spiciness level, brand, cuisine, release year, whatever works for you)
- Browse publicly shared community collections to discover new instant foods you haven't tried yet
- Export your full collection any time to back it up or move it between your devices
- Share your favorite collectible cards with friends or on social media if you want to
- Delete any of your content or the entire app any time you want, with no extra steps
What We Ask Of You
To keep Quilx a great space for all instant food lovers, we just ask a few simple things:
- Don't use Quilx to store or share content that doesn't belong to you, or content that would make other community members feel uncomfortable or unsafe
- Don't try to break the app, access other people's private collections, or use Quilx content for commercial purposes without reaching out to ask permission first
- Keep the community focused on what we're all here for: celebrating delicious instant food and sharing honest tasting notes
- If you find a bug or have an idea for a new feature, let us know instead of abusing the system — we love hearing feedback from fellow enthusiasts!
Your Content & Your Control
Since Quilx works without login or account creation, we don't store a backup of your private collection on our servers unless you explicitly choose to enable cloud backup. If you delete the app from your device without exporting your collection first, your content will be removed from your device and we can't recover it for you — we always recommend regular backups to keep your collection safe.
If you choose to share any of your entries publicly to the community gallery, you can make them private again or delete them at any time.
Changes To These Guidelines
As we grow and add new features to Quilx, we may update these guidelines every once in a while. We'll always post the newest version here, update the effective date, and notify you of changes through the app the next time you open it. Continuing to use Quilx after changes are posted means you agree to the updated guidelines.
