Information We Collect

We only collect information that is necessary to provide you with the Quilx service you expect:

• Your Tasting Content: This includes all packaging photos you upload, tasting notes you write, flavor ratings you give, and multi-dimensional tags you create for your collection. If you only use Quilx's local offline mode, all of this content stays only on your device, and we never access or copy it. If you enable optional cloud sync to access your private food gallery across devices, we will store this encrypted content on our servers only for your personal access.
• Account Information: If you create an account for cloud sync, we collect only the basic information you provide (such as your email address) to identify your account and keep your collection synced.
• Anonymous Usage Data: We collect non-identifiable usage diagnostic data to help us fix crashes, improve app performance, and understand which features are most useful to food enthusiasts like you. This data never includes any of your personal tasting content.

How We Use Your Information

All information we collect is used only to deliver and improve the Quilx experience for you:

• Provide, maintain and secure the cloud sync service for your private tasting collection
• Troubleshoot technical issues and prevent abuse of our service
• Develop new features based on how our community of food enthusiasts use the platform
• Communicate with you if you reach out to us for support

We will never share your personal tasting content, or any of your personal information, with third parties for commercial marketing purposes.

Data Security & Storage

We implement industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access. Your personal tasting gallery is private by default: only you can access your content unless you explicitly choose to share individual collectible cards with others.

We retain your data only for as long as you keep your account active. You can delete any individual entry or your entire account at any time, and we will permanently remove all your content from our servers within 30 days.

Your Control & Rights

You retain full ownership and control over all the content you add to Quilx. All users have the right to:

• Access, export or download all of your tasting data in a standard format at any time
• Edit, update or delete any of your content or your personal information at any time
• Delete your entire account permanently if you choose to stop using Quilx
• Opt out of anonymous usage data collection in your app settings

Third-Party Services

Quilx uses only a limited number of trusted third-party services to operate the platform, including cloud infrastructure providers, payment processors (for premium features), and analytics tools. These third parties only process your data in accordance with their own privacy policies, and we only share the minimum information necessary for them to provide their services to us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time when we make changes to our service. We will notify you of any material changes through the app or email before the new policy takes effect. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
